Every project begins with a garment and material assessment. We review the construction, condition, seam allowances, and fit goals before discussing what can realistically be achieved.
Our redesign work includes dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and selected vintage pieces. When a concept depends on the existing fabric, we explain those limits clearly before approval.
Careful assessment before any quote
Altered Elegance reshapes clothing with practical alterations, thoughtful redesign, and upcycling that respects the original fabric.
We also offer fabric-reuse accessory projects for customers who want to turn usable material into something new. Thread, trims, and other supplementary materials are quoted separately when needed.
A fit check at collection is part of the process, and small final adjustments may be handled carefully without changing the agreed design. Where available, we also match original thread and trim as closely as possible.
